FUTSAL COURSE IN MALAYSIA

Kuala Lumpur: AFC and FIFA will hold the first Futsal Continental Train the Trainer Selection Course here from October 18 to 23, 2010.
FIFA Instructor from Croatia Mico Martic and FIFA and AFC Elite Instructor Tsang Wai Chung from Hong Kong will conduct the course.
AFC Director of Futsal Ali Targolizadeh said the course aims to develop more futsal instructors in all the regions of the continent.
“We will identify and develop potential futsal instructors for their respective regions.
“We also target to build a network of regional futsal instructors and help AFC Member Associations plan their futsal courses.
“This course will be a big event because it is the first of its kind and involves 25 instructors from 22 countries,” Targolizadeh said.
He said to qualify to attend the October course, one must be fluent in English and have at least the ‘A’ Licence or Futsal Level 1 Certificate.
“After finishing the course, the participants will become Assistant Instructors, who will then assist AFC Elite Futsal Instructors in two occasions.
“After this, they will become full fledged Regional Futsal Instructors and will be assigned to their respective region - Asean, East, West or Central and South,” he said.
The participants for the inaugural course are Steven John Knight (Australia), Asaad Lazim Ali (Iraq), Zaenal Abidin (Indonesia), Zhang Chuan and Ling Luhui (China), Dory Zakhour (Lebanon), Wisan Maivijit and Sumranphun Khumron (Thailand), Bandar Al Ahmadi and Mushabbab Al Hakeem (Saudi Arabia), Nguyen Van Long (Vietnam), Shamil Al Daghistani (Jordan), Prak Sovannara (Cambodia) Pema (Bhutan), Md Mahabub Hossain Roksy (Bangladesh), Ghassan Fathi Qaseem Al Balawi (Palestine), Shahzad Anwar (Pakistan), Annayev Dovletmurad Turkmenistan), Santosh Kashyap (India), Mohamed Shazlee (The Maldives), Chinsari Mitra and Ali Reza Raadi (Iran), Mohd Dali Wahid (Malaysia), Esmaeil Sedigh (The Philippines) and Kwon Tae Suk (Korea Republic).
