Michael Jordan: I cannot accept not to try
Some times when the things seem no run in the right way, or sometimes when I feel i need more power to transfer to my players, to give them the strength to arrive till the target......I search to understand what have inside the sportsmen who became legends.
Michael Jordan is without anydoubts one of the best sportsman to take examp
“I can accept failure. Anyone can fails at something. But I cannot accept not trying'.
Michael 'Air' Jordan was born in February the 17th, 1963 in New York in the borough of Brooklyn, in a family of humble origins. It is a very shy boy, but with a great passion for the sport, in which he demonstrates to have an exceptional talent, which led him to excel not only in basketball but also in American football (quarterback) and baseball (as a pitcher).
Here are some steps of this belief:
Step by step. I see no other way to get something.
I always set goals in the short term. If I look back each of these steps leads to the next.
I always saw where I was going, and what kind of player I wanted to be.
I knew exactly where I wanted to go and I am focused on achieving that goal. And when I had achieved those goals, I asked myself more.
I never thought about the consequences of failure to achieve a goal. Why? Because when you think about the consequences, always think about a negative result.
If I launch myself into a situation, I think to be successful and I do not think about what it will happen if I fail.
I understand that if I want something in my life, I must be aggressive.
If all the times that I was on the free throws line I thought to the 10 millions people watching me, I could not do anything.
So I tried to think of being in a familiar context. I thought about all the times I made free throws and I tried to reproduce the same emotion and the same technique I had used hundreds of times. So I knew I was doing the right thing.
The talent can win a game, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
In every sport there are many teams who, despite having the best players, have never won a title. In most cases, these players are not willing to sacrifice themselves for the good of the team. The strange thing is, that at the end, it is precisely this inability to sacrifice that makes it harder to achieve their personal goals.
